The Santa Fe Suite was inspired by my many visits to the southwest, in particular New Mexico and Arizona. Though many folks have described this area as a lot of rock, the landscape creates vibes that far transcend the visual impact alone. In designing the suite I incorporated simplicity with floors in natural saltillo tile and colors at peace with nature. Sante Fe Suite Amenities: |

The Sergeantsville Room located upstairs on the south end of the historic part of the home is named for our quaint village. When's the last time you slept in a bedroom from the late 1700s? It is available with a private bath or it can be shared with the Sandbrook room to create a suite for three or four persons. It features a 1930s queen-size sleigh bed and bureau of tiger maple, and original wide-plank pumpkin pine flooring. Sunlight floods the room through three large deep-silled windows outlined in calico curtains. During your stay make sure you include a trip through the only remaining covered bridge in New Jersey, the Green Sergeant's bridge, for whom the village is named. Sergeantsville Room Amenities: |

The Sand Brook Room located upstairs in the original section of the house is named for the colonial village that abuts our farm. This brightly lit room is available with a private bath, or it can be shared with the Sergeantsville room to create a suite for three or four persons. A garden rose pattern graces the handmade twin bedspreads and curtains, and the twins can be converted to a king-size bed. A delightful collection of antique ladies' church hats, a small oak dresser and secretary, and original wide-plank pumpkin pine flooring round out this cozy nook of history. The San Diego Room. Nothing can top the year-round great weather of San Diego. Even though I was unable to incorporate 340 days of sunshine into this room, I was able through the use of faux painting, artsy decorations, and a patchwork of color to invite the free spirit of San Diego back to New Jersey and into my home. This brightly lit upstairs room features hardwood floors and a full private bath. A queen iron bed, antique oak dresser, art deco claw-footed table, and historic shutters evoke a sense of the eclectic. Great for couples! San Diego Room Amenities: |

The Shanghai Suite. I was fortunate enough to make my first trip to China in the Fall of 2007, thanks to my Asian boyfriend David. I returned with some great classic Chinese treasures. The suite is now complete with Chinese wall hangings and Beijing pottery. Located at the top of its own staircase, the two-room suite has a bedroom highlighted by king-size cherry poster bed and lots of windows, with quilted drapes made from Indian saris. The adjoining room is a living area complete with sleeper sofa, Chinese art, and a full private bath. Through the use of faux painting, I was able to achieve a relaxing and soothing environment. Couples will enjoy the privacy, but it's also a great room for a small family or those traveling with pets. Shanghai Suite Amenities: |
